Seven very unusual trios for SAT recorders, with titles and mood that conjure up ghost stories from the Oxford area of England, many of them originating in the bloody Civil War, often fought in that area. Titles are: Sad Ghost; Children Laughing; Strange Shapes in the Mist; Footsteps on the Stairs; Poltergeist; The Unquiet Grave; and Battles Long Ago. Freda Burford wrote these pieces in 1992. This is a playing score, readable by all three recorder players (no page turns!).
