Three Sonatas (2 ttTB; 1 ttTTB viols, opt. organ)

Giovanni Battista Vitali (1644-1692) composed these three pieces in Bologna. Their titles reflect the family names of senators in that city, and were written for instruments of the violin family, with a basso seguente part for organ, which is optional in modern performances. This edition for viols is by George Houle.
