This is a new edition of Schenck's famous collection, "Le Nymphe di Rheno": challenging duos for bass viols. Edited by Lucy Bardo, who also edited our edition of The Art of Fugue for viols. Two playing scores, each containing the music for both players, enabling them to exchange parts on repeats. Only one page turn, at a pause between movements! The two long ciacone are given as the individual parts, one of them on a foldout page to avoid page turns.
